Are you ready to rumble? The 7^th Annual SangaRita Showdown is coming to the Manatee Fairgrounds on September 15^th ! This exciting event will pit some of the best bartenders in the area against each other in a battle for Sangria and Margarita supremacy. And you can be there to participate in all the action!  The SangaRita Showdown will take place on Friday, September 15^th, at the Manatee County Fairgrounds, Veterans Hall, 1402 14^th Ave. West, Palmetto, Florida. 

Doors open at 7pm and the fun will go until midnight. Tickets are just $40 in advance or $50 at the door, and all proceeds will go to support Parenting Matters in Bradenton, a local organization that provides resources and support for parents and families.  So come on out and join us for a night of fun, drinks, and competition! It’s sure to be a night you won’t want to miss.

Who is Parenting Matters Organization?

Many would argue it is the most challenging, yet most important job in the world. But you do not have to do it alone. Parenting Matters exists to help each parent understand their children’s development and behaviors. We also teach parents new, effective parenting skills to help keep their children safe and help them reach their full potential.

• Since 1994, Parenting Matters, formerly Family Partnership Center, has been embedded in our community, providing parenting education and serving parents of children ages 0-17, at all levels of risk, through highly qualified Parenting Educators.
• We are 1 of 67 Accredited Child Abuse Prevention Centers nationally (1 of 3 in Florida) through the National Exchange Club (NEC).
• We consistently earn the highest level of accreditation (AAA) for our high-quality programs and professional business operations.
• Our in-home, Parent Partner Program, is a published evidence-based program (NEC “Parent Aide” model).
• Our programs are offered in both English and Spanish, and many are court-approved.
• Our programs are customized to meet the individual needs of each family.
• We work with other local organizations to ensure the parents we’re serving have access to the vital resources they need to adequately care for their families (i.e. food, mental health counseling, housing, etc.)
